A Typical Middle Manager’s Day

Did you know that middle managers spend only about a fourth of their time managing? Nearly a third of their time is spent providing support tasks and performing nonproductive activities – clerical activities, etc. Non-productive tasks (walking to meetings, traveling, searching for a parking spot) consumed about 13% of each manager’s day.

To improve management efficiency, try to rethink of staffing requirements and job responsibilities.
