Some female managers tends to discuss matters in person, rather than using memos or e-mails. Chalk up their behavior to differences between men and women in the workplace, according to study.  Women negotiate in the context of ongoing relationships, rather than relying on a winner-take-all attitude. They typically don’t compartmentalize their lives, choosing to draw on a wide range of experiences.  Women often have a greater tolerance for juggling and balancing tasks. Answering Machine Etiquette

How to leave messages on answering machines:
- Speak slowly, slighly louder than normal. Enunciate carefully – as if you’re speaking to a foreigner.
- Repeat phone numbers and important points.
- If you call and are surprised by the answering machine message, consider hanging up immediately, preparing and agenda of what you want to say, and then calling back. Thus, you spare the listener from hearing a rambling, disorganized message.
